For children and parents
This app is made for children aged 12 and under. There is no account to create, and we do not ask children for their date of birth. Parents and guardians can contact us at any time using the details above.
What we collect
The app collects the data listed under Advertising through Google's advertising software. We do not keep personal information about players on our own systems, apart from any emails you send us and the order records Google Play gives us.
Letters to Santa. We do not collect, store or read letters.
Game progress. Progress and settings are saved on your device.
Analytics. We have switched off Firebase Analytics, and we do not run our own analytics in this app. Google's advertising software still collects the data listed under Advertising, and Google may use it for analytics. We see ad totals, not information about individual players.
Location. The app does not ask for permission to use your device's location, and it does not collect precise location. Santa's location in the app is part of the game. Google's advertising software can estimate approximate location from the device's IP address (see Advertising).
Advertising
The free app shows ads through Google AdMob. The app tells Google that its ad requests are for children and limits ads to the G rating, so ads are limited to ones suitable for children, and personalised ads and remarketing are switched off. The app does not ask for the Android advertising ID permission.
To show ads, Google's advertising software in the app automatically collects and shares this data with Google:
IP address: Google may use this to estimate the device's approximate location.
Device IDs: the app set ID, an ID shared only by apps from the same developer on the device, and, if applicable, other identifiers Google links to accounts signed in on the device.
App information and performance: diagnostics such as app launch time, hang rate and energy use.
App activity: interactions such as app launches, taps and ads viewed.
Google uses this data for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Google's privacy policy explains how Google handles data.
Purchases
Purchases go through Google Play, behind a grown-up check. Google handles payment, and we never see card details.
Links and sharing
The app does not open web pages itself, and nothing is shared from it. Tapping an ad can open a website or app store page, which has its own privacy policy.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. The data listed under Advertising goes to Google, and purchase details go to Google Play. The app may also show Google Play's rating prompt, and any rating given there is handled by Google. We show ads to fund the free app. Google may process this data outside the UK and EU, including in the United States, under its own safeguards.
Keeping data secure
Data collected by Google's advertising software is encrypted while it travels. Progress and settings stay on the device.
Keeping and deleting data
Uninstalling the app removes the progress and settings saved on your device and stops further collection. If Android backup is on, a copy may stay in your Google account until you delete it. Uninstalling does not delete data Google has already received; Google explains how long it keeps data. If you email us, we keep your message only as long as we need it to deal with your request. For questions about your data, or a child's data, contact us at info@cgastudio.games.
Your rights
Parents and guardians anywhere can ask us what personal data we hold about their child, and ask us to correct or delete it. We normally hold nothing beyond any emails you send us, and we cannot delete data held by Google. If you are in the UK or EU, you can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
